I know it seems like I've become that guy who hates everything and only writes angry, sarcastic reviews of late, but I'm not. That would be twistedyouth. I've just had a bad run of luck of late when it comes to movies, so after a horrible Star Wars experience, I went home and watched a movie I knew to be great, so I could restore my faith in the medium of film.
So what better choice than the official movie of topfive_reviews? Surprisingly, this the first review of the movie here, so it's past time it makes its way to the hallowed annals of the movie review index.
One of my favourite all-time movies, High Fidelity tells the story of Rob Gordon (John Cusack), a record store owner recently dumped who searches through his dating history to... blah, blah, blah. Synopsis bore me. Look here's the thing: if you haven't seen this movie, then make it your mission in life to see it. I don't need to say anything else, other than 5 out of 5 stars.
Go see it; go see it now. Skip Sith and watch this if you have to.
