My Top 5 All-Time Track Ones, Side Ones

home taping
Since I just finished watching High Fidelity, I figured I'd post a quick list in its honour. This one is off the top of my head, and by no means exhaustive. I encourage others to post their own in the comments or in a separate post, or to engage me in a dialogue about it if you want. Just to clarify, this is MY all-time, not THE all-time, as I'm not yet qualified to do that list. Also, this list isn't just about how great the songs are, but more about how well they do their job in opening an album. Because not all great songs are album opening-type tracks.

5. "Neighbourhood #1 (Tunnels)", The Arcade Fire - Funeral
4. "Politik" - Coldplay, A Rush of Blood to the Head
3. "Your Ex-Lover is Dead" - Stars, Set Yourself on Fire
2. "Taxman" - The Beatles, Revolver
1. "Like a Rolling Stone" - Bob Dylan, Highway 61 Revisited

I was working on the same list. I suppose now is the perfect time to post it, although I was going to post it along with my top 5 last tracks, which is taking longer to finish.

Isn't that always inferred here?

I really wish my Funeral bit torrent would hurry up and finish so I can hear what all the rage is about.

It should always be inferred, but I figured I'd clarify again for this particular list. I don't mind if people challenge my list, as long as they have ideas for their own list, instead of just saying I'm wrong.
